1994 Softball Team

The 1994 Blue Jays softball team coached by Duane Ford and assisted by John Rakich won the PIAA AA State Championship. They went undefeated with a record of 28 & 0. They also won the Mid Penn League Championship and PIAA District IV AA Championship along the way.

Members of the team were Jen Antolick, Mandy Gehrig, Autumn Spaide, Lauren Freas, Jessica Sitler, Jocelyn Bishop, Amie Schreier, Tonya Guther, Stacey Force, Michelle Lamon, Abbey Ford, Holly Eyerly, Kristen Mertz, Lindsey Hattersley, Lindsey Ritter, - Angie Wagner, Kristen Maertz, Amanda Ledger, Laurel Freas, Nicole Nuss, Autumn Spaide, Jen Antolick, Amanda Gehrig, Angie Klingerman, Paula Bisiar, Yoko Kawashima, Christy Lemon, Michelle Lamon, Abbey Ford, Julie Novak, Lindsay Ritter, Lindsey VanHouten, Jessica Sitler, Lindsey Hattersley, Jocelyn Bishop, Letitia Reichart, Lauren Ruckle, and Amy Yoder. This was the first District 4 AA softball team to win a State Championship and remains the only team, in any sport, in Central history to post an undefeated record throughout the regular season, district playoffs and the PIAA State Tournament.
