Basketball

Dewitt was a standout for Central’s basketball team. He was the center for the 1981 state championship team that set a record for most team wins. He was named second-team all-state in his final season.

Dewitt played basketball at Bucknell University, where he earned a bachelors degree in civil engineering. He then received a masters degree in construction management from the University of Maryland in 1994. Dewitt lives in Ellicott City, Md.
