Ruth Riale, was a long time teacher, coach, and advisor at Central Columbia and Scott Twp. Schools. During her years at Central she introduced field hockey and coached girl's basketball, and softball. She was the cheerleader advisor/coach for most of her years at Central & Scott Twp. Her cheerleading squads won numerous International Cheerleading Foundation Championships and received numerous Top Performance Awards at the Danville Cheer-A-Rama. She also wrote the Central Columbia Alma Mater. Ruth is the mother of a daughter, Sidney and a son, Joseph. She is retired from teaching and lives in Pittsburgh, near her son.
