Jeff Baird was a two-time state champion in track. As a junior Jeff won the Susquehanna Valley League and District IV 110 High Hurdles and finished 8th in states. Also as a junior, Jeff won the Susquehanna Valley League, District IV, and state 300 Intermediate Hurdles. As a senior Jeff again won the Susquehanna Valley League and District IV 110 High Hurdles and again won the Susquehanna Valley League, District IV, and State 300 Intermediate Hurdles. Jeff was undefeated in dual meets both his junior and senior years in the 110 high Hurdles and the 300 Intermediate Hurdles. He is also the school recordholder in both the 110 high Hurdles and the 300 Intermediate Hurdles.

Jeff attended North Carolina State, was on the track team three years, and placed 7th in the ACC 400 Meter Hurdles. Jeff went on to graduate from Penn State with a BS in Health Policy & Administration - Pre Med Curriculum. Jeff is currently working as a Staff Consultant for McBee Associates, Inc., a health care consulting firm in Philadelphia. Jeff is the son of John & Marsha Baird of Bloomsburg. Jeff has two brothers, Matt & Kevin.
