The field hockey team won a Columbia County League Championship and District IV Championship in 1985. They were coached by current field hockey coach, Bridget Mathias. Coach Mathias was assisted by Karin Michael. The field hockey team captured Central Columbia's first field hockey championship in 1985. This team had numerous multiple sport athletes and outstanding individual talent.
