Lauren Ruckle graduated in 1998 and was very involved in her years at Central Columbia High School. Lauren was a three sport athlete all four years, participating in field hockey, basketball and softball. In 1995, 97 and 98 the basketball team won the league championship. In 1996, the team was the District IV AA champions and in 1997 the AAA champions. Ruckle was a Mid-Penn Honorable Mention in 1997 and a Second Team All-Star in 1998.

Lauren was also a part of the league champion softball team in 1995, 96 and 98 and the District IV champions in 1995 and 97. The softball team’s cumulative record for all four years was 83-16. Lauren was a Mid-Penn Honorable Mention in 1997 and named the First Team Mid-Penn catcher in 1998. After graduation, Lauren went on to the Academy of Hair Design and then became the Co-owner/operator of Locks of Style in 2001. She is married to Brent Traugh and has two children; Logan and Ryan.
