Mr. Snyder graduated from Brookville Area Junior-Senior High School in western Pennsylvania in 1988. Mr. Snyder earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Germanic Languages and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Clarion University in 1995. He earned a Master's Degree in Education from Bucknell University in 2010.
Mr. Snyder taught German in the Hanover County Public Schools in Richmond, Virginia from 1995 - 1999. He taught German at Central Columbia High School from 1999 - 2010. Mr. Snyder led 5 groups of CCHS students on educational tours of German-speaking Europe during this time. Mr. Snyder has been the head boy's basketball coach at CCHS since 2005. Mr. Snyder is married to Nicole (Fink) Snyder, who is a 1995 graduate of Central Columbia High School.
