The purpose of the Internship experience is to connect business to industry with qualified high school students.  This is a great way for students to apply their classroom knowledge and skills to the world of work.  This experience will be hands on and supervised by both the employer and the cooperative education coordinator.  This is usually an unpaid experience.  The experience must be in the student's pathway.  Requirements for this experience include guidance counselor recommendation, completed training agreement and student's pathway.  Requirements for this experience include guidance counselor recommendation, completed training agreement and training plan, satisfactory attendance record, and a work permit.  Students must provide their own transportation to and from the work site.
