 Be Kind & Courteous!  You will be required to work independently and cooperatively with your classmates. Somos una familia so get ready to acquire the Spanish language with your hermanos.

 Be Prepared!  Bring your Spanish binder-cuaderno, your iPad, ear buds-audífonos, and writing utensil to class every day! If you need to use the baño, please ask at the beginning of class or the end of class. ¿Puedo ir al baño? - sign the blue pass (if it’s available) and return promptly. 

 Be on Task!   Each day you will begin class with a vocabulary activity. Open up Quizlet and begin studying your current list. Studying & mastering vocabulary is essential in learning another language. Be ready to demonstrate your vocabulary mastery during the first 5 minutes of class. Then, complete the closing assessment at the conclusion of every class.

Vocabulary words are the building blocks of language learning, each word is like a lego. The more legos you have, the more you can build. Consequently, the more words you know the more you are able to comprehend and to communicate in the Spanish language! 2. COMPREHENSIBLE INPUT or GRAMMATICAL INSTRUCTION:

In order to acquire the Spanish language, we will spend at least 20-25 minutes interacting in Spanish, through spoken and/or written messages. We will either be reading, listening, or watching Spanish content together to prepare you for the last 10 minutes of class. Every now and then, we will need to focus on learning the mechanics of the language and study Spanish grammar.
