Through the study of quality literature of various genres, different time periods and diverse authors, students broaden their understanding of themselves and their world, improve their vocabulary, strengthen their oral and written communication, and deepen their ability to analyze and comprehend what they read. The course also focuses on review and reinforcement of grammar and usage skills, further development of composition techniques and abilities, improvement in research and library science competence, and enhancement of self-worth and career potential through literature enrichment.
