Supervised Agricultural Experience credit is awarded to students in grades 9-12 that are enrolled in the Agricultural Science program. in order to be approved for one credit the student must sign contracts and keep records of work completed, hours, and wages. An employment experience can be both on-farm and off-farm opportunities.  Other SAE projects include research, entrepreneurship, and exploratory agriculture.  The SAE is the basis for the majority of all FFA awards and degrees.
