Intro to 3-D Design focuses on mastery of the PA Academic Standards for Arts and Humanities through developing hand-building clay techniques as well as offering the chance to work with a variety of other materials such as cardboard, plaster, and found objects.  Studio projects created in class will be linked to art produced by artists today and multiple cultures throughout history.  During this course you will gain a greater appreciation for three-dimensional art forms. You will be able to discuss artistic topics in depth and use newly learned methods in order to build your artistic skills. This class will provide the opportunity to creatively express yourself through your own three-dimensional artwork.
