Central Columbia Agricultural Science Student Captures First Place

The Columbia County Conservation District hosted the annual poster contest again this year. The 2020 theme was Where Would We Bee Without Pollinators, 11th grade student in the Central Columbia Agricultural/Environmental Science Program created, constructed and submitted her poster concentrating on the importance of honeybees as pollinators for food sources for humans. Student captured first place in the 10th-12th grade category. She was awarded with a monetary winning as well as a dozen ears of sweet corn from Farmer Moofy. Congratulations on an excellent project!
