Environmental Science Class Conducts Aquatic Labs

During the week of November 4, 2019; students at Central Columbia High School enrolled in the Environmental Science class conducted labs associated with the aquatic section of the Envirothon. Students conducted water quality analysis of different water sources including their home water. The tests conducted were pH, ammonia, nitrogen and temperature. Students also conducted a macro invertebrate identification lab where they utilized dichotomous keys to properly identify many aquatic species.
