During the week of September 28, 2020; students in the Central Columbia Environmental Science class conducting tree measurement labs in regard to total tree height, diameter breast height, number of logs and board foot volumes. Students are learning these skills in the forestry section of Environmental Science in preparation for the 2021 Envirothon.

In this photo, student properly identified the tree species and is now measuring the diameter breast height of this tree species.

Here, student measures the DBH of this tree in the lab for forest measurement.
