The 1986-1987 wrestling team, coached by Todd Cummings and assisted by the late Bob Rohm, won the PIAA AA State Championship for a second year in a row behind Rob Meldrum, who won a second Heavyweight State Championship, Ty Williams placed 2nd at 185 lbs. and Nate Barto placed 3rd at 98 lbs.

Team members included Chris Ackerman, Joel Barto, Mark Shaffer, Brady Taylor, Nathan Barto, Doug Bower, Rob Woodley, Dan Shaffer, Matt Revok, Paul Ferro, Barry Davis, Scott Huntington, Chris O'Nell, Matt Martenas, Eric Whitmer, Kurt Karshner, Rob Meldrum, Ty Williams, Bob Kocher, Damon Beaver, Todd Hons, and Shawn Collins. Managers of the team were Celestia Revak, Mari Wheeler and Kristin Lurowist.
