Ty Williams was a three sport athlete, playing football, wrestling, and track. Ty was a member of the 1986 and 1987 PIAA State Championship Wrestling Team. He was a 3 time Sectional Champion, 3 time District Champion, and a 3 time Regional Champion. Ty placed 6th and 2nd at the State Wrestling Tournament. He had a 33-2 record his senior year. At the end of his senior season, Ty had a career record of 106 wins, 27 losses, and 2 ties.

After graduation, he attended North Carolina State University. He was a 4 year starter on the wrestling team, and had a 82-46 record. Ty was a 3 time Atlantic Coast Conference Place Winner. Since 1992, Ty has been the owner and operator of Bassets Restaurant. He is the administrator of the Susquehanna Valley Medical Specialties and the Susquehanna Surgery Center. Ty currently lives in Orangeville with his wife, Brenda.
