My name is Amber Bassett, and I teach BEGINNER SPANISH, BEGINNER FRENCH, INTERMEDIATE FRENCH, & ADVANCED FRENCH.

I attended West Virginia University where I received an MA in Secondary Education (Specializations in French & Spanish) and a Minor in Dance.  I started my teaching career in 2004 at Aberdeen High School in Maryland as a French, Spanish, and Dance teacher.  I then moved to Pennsylvania and taught one year of Spanish at Hanover Area High School before accepting a position in 2007 here at Central Columbia High School.  

I have a passion for dance and formerly coached the high school Dance Team here at Central when it was formed in 2010.  Outside of school, I run a dance studio in Bloomsburg:  DanceWorks by Amber.
