COURSE DESCRIPTION
.5 Credits
This course includes the study of the home – inside and out. The course begins with a brief overview prehistoric shelters and progresses through the centuries to modern day architecture and current trends in the housing & interior design industries. Students will examine choices of housing options and interior design, including design elements & principles applied to living spaces - such as 'color psychology' - SO FUN! The study of lighting, windows, textiles, furniture styles, accessorizing, outdoor spaces, careers, and more will be included as they apply to housing & design.
