I've been a Bluejay since 1999. Currently I teach Modern World History, AP European History, Sociology and Anthropology. I am also an adviser for FBLA, the Freshman Class and the Sophomore Class.
* My classes use Google Classroom to hand out and submit most assignments.
A Pittsburgh girl at heart, I attended Deer Lakes High School and Shippensburg University. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Studies and my Master's degree as a Reading Specialist. My husband, Jason Hippenstiel, also teaches history at Central. We have 2 children and 2 fur babies- Kathryn-Class of 2021, Jack-Class of 2024, Poli and Keisel.
