Dwayne Prosceno, a 1979 graduate of Central Columbia High School where he was an outstanding three-sport athlete. Dwayne excelled in football, baseball and wrestling. He earned numerous varsity letters in four years of athletics here at Central Columbia. During his athletic career, Dwayne set several records that still stand today. In baseball, he holds the school record for single season strikeouts at 174 as well as the most innings pitched at 115. In football, he was named captain and was selected as the league all-star and team’s most valuable player. In baseball, he was voted the league’s most valuable player and named to the league’s All-Star Team. Dwayne has coached two sports during his time at Central Columbia including; junior high football for 23 years and varsity baseball. Dwayne is presently employed by the Central Columbia School District as the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds and Assistant Athletic Director for Junior High Athletics. He resides in Lime Ridge with his wife Lisa (also a Central Columbia graduate). Together they have two children who are both Central Columbia graduates; Alicia (1999) and Josh (2001). They also have two grandsons Sawyer and Olliver.
