Julie Novak-Rowe graduated in 1996 and was very involved in her years at Central Columbia High School. Julie participated in field hockey, basketball and softball. Julie earned 12 varsity letters during her high school athletic career. She was a vital player on the championship teams she represented such as the: 1995 Field Hockey Mid-Penn Championship Team, the 1994, 1995 and 1996 Basketball Mid-Penn League Champions as well as the 1993, 1994 and 1995 Softball Championship Teams. Julie holds the single season records for most offensive rebounds with 128, most defensive rebounds with 146 and the most overall rebounds with 736. Her shooting field goal percentage was 52.1% and she averaged 7.2 rebounds per game during her basketball career. In field hockey, she was named 1995 and 1996 Press Enterprise All-Star-Catcher. In basketball, she was awarded the most improved player from the freshmen to sophomore year. In softball, she holds the record for most official at bats in a season at 90, most put outs in a season at 195 and best fielding average at 99.5%. She was named Mid-Penn League All-Star Catcher in 1994, 1995 and 1996. Julie graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology with a degree in Medical Imaging. Currently, she is employed as the lead X-ray technician at Geisinger Medical Center at the Berwick Facilities. She married Aaron Rowe (1995 Central Columbia Graduate) and they live on the family farm in Hetlerville with their two daughters; Ellie and Emma.
