The Central Columbia Agricultural/Environmental Science Program assisted in educating the Central Columbia Elementary School students on the importance of Earth Day and the protection of our natural resources. Students in grade 3 of Mrs. Brown's classroom each received a packaged white spruce tree to plant at home. The tree seedlings were provided by the Pennsylvania Game Commission-Howard Nursery with the School Tree Program.
