Students in the Environmental Science Class at Central Columbia High School, under the direction of Mr. Doug Brown and Mr. Kirk Seesholtz, welcomed a guest speaker on Friday, February 5, 2021. Mrs. Brittany Hartzell, Watershed Specialist for the Columbia County Conservation District conducted a virtual presentation to the students related to Stream movement and Soil Erosion. During Brittany's presentation she discussed the importance of clean water as well as healthy soil. She demonstrated the stream water table and related numerous terms associated with both water and soil management.
